How to Perform OBUE test on NR Signal With NI RFmx?

Issue Details

I am trying to test OBUE (Operating Band Unwanted Emissions) of NR signal with NI RFmx.

I cannot find that test in the RFmx NR library. Is this test cover by RFmx? Is this test defined in standard like 3GPP or is it a industrial standard?

Solution

This is 3GPP specification defined measurement and RFmx NR also does support this measurement. You can use RFmxNR SEM measurement for same.

3GPP TS 38.101 specification (Uplink) defines this as 'Spectral Emission Mask' in section 6.5.2.2 and 3GPP TS 38.104 specification (Downlink) defines this as 'Operating Band Unwanted Emissions' in section 6.6.4
