PXIe-8881 Performance Limitation when Used with Unsupported Chassis

Issue Details

When using PXIe-8881 with unsupported chassis, it states that CPU performance will be limited, but it does not specify the extent of the limitation. Additionally, it is unclear how much the limitation is when set to Low Power Mode.

Solution

CPU TDP will be limited from 156 W (8/18-core), 126 W (4-core) to 75 W for all non 82 W chassis including third party chassis. If you set CPU power limit to Low Power Mode in BIOS, the CPU TDP will be limited to 75 W, and you won't get the warning in MAX.

Detailed data on CPU performance (percentage) is not available as it varies greatly depending on the type of CPU load.
