Error -8306 occured at an unidentified location with ADCS Toolkit DoIP

Issue Details

When I attempting to establish communication with a DUT via DoIP (Diagnostic over IP) using the Automotive Diagnostic Command Toolkit (ADCS) in LabVIEW, I get the following error: 

Error -8306 occurred at an unidentified location

Possible reason(s): Automotive Diagnostic Command Toolkit Set: DoIP (Diagnostic over Internet Protocol): Generic header error received.

This error is shown in the following dialog box. 




When looking at the DoIP messages in the Wireshark trace the DoIP Fram has a message DoIP Header NACK Code: Incorrect pattern format (0x00), as shown in the trace below. 

Solution

This could be occuring if the wrong version of ISO is being used.
ADCS 18.0 and earlier versions only support ISO 13400-2:2010. With ADCS 18.5, support for ISO 13400-2:2012 is introduced.
