Solution
The Power Validation Add-On is only supported on the version of InstrumentStudio it was released for. For example, if you installed Power Validation Add-On 2023Q3, then the version of InstrumentStudio compatible with that Add-On is Instrument Studio 2023 Q3.
If you install Power Validation Add-On 2023Q3 on top of InstrumentStudio 2024Q4, it is very likely any of both won't work properly, since the add-on was not released for that version and has not been officially tested. If you are already experiencing this problem, the solution is to remove InstrumentStudio and the Power Validation Add-On, and do any of the following:

- If you don't need the add-on, we recommend using the latest version of InstrumentStudio without installing the add-on, so you can use your software and hardware with the latest updates.
- If you actively use the add-on, we recommend staying in the version of InstrumentStudio that matches the version of the add-on. Notice that updating drivers may also update the version of InstrumentStudio, so make sure everything stays within the same version.
- If you actively use the add-on and also need to upgrade InstrumentStudio to a newer version that is not compatible with the add-on, the best approach would be to stop using the add-on and use another NI solution that satisfies your needs.
