Error -1074100370 Upon PXIe-5831 Self-Calibration on RFmx Soft Front Panel

Issue Details

Upon Self-Calibration of PXIe-5831 in RFmx Soft Front Panel, I got Error -1074100370 as below:
 

The error details are as below:
Self-calibration failed.
NationalIntruments.RFmx.InstrMX: -1074100370; The calibration procedure failed to converge upon a single calibrated value.
Error code: -1074100370

Therefore, how can I solve the error?

Solution

As PXIe-5831 consist of configuration of several modules, Error -1074100370 indicates that there might be an issue with the connection of each cable connecting the PXIe-5820, PXIe-3622, PXIe-5653 and the Multi-Port mmWave Radio Head.

Kindly try below troubleshooting to resolve the error:

• Recheck the cable connection to avoid cable contact error hence try self-calibration again
• Replace all cables on PXIe-5831 hence try self-calibration again
• If have another set of PXIe-5831 that have no issue, try change the cables of the set of PXIe-5831 that have self-calibration error with cables from another set of PXIe-5831

• PXIe-5831 Intermediate Self-Test screenshot like below;
   
• Self-calibration Log (can be found at %temp%\niVST Cal Results at Windows Explorer)
