What Is the Maximum Cable Length Recommended for the NHR 9300 Parallel Interface?

Issue Details

When setting up multiple NHR 9300 systems for parallel, what is the longest cable length allowed for the parallel interface connections between multiple systems?

The product manual mentions cable part numbers that are 10 feet long, is this the maximum length allowed?

Solution

The NHR 9300 product manual mentions the following part numbers for recommended cables that are 10 feet long:

NHR recommends these cables as they are what have been tested to work and are shielded serial cables.  A general guideline for maximum length of shielded serial cables is 15 meters, so theoretically you can use a cable of up to this length.
