How to Use Button in Inspection UI to Control Program State in NI Vision Builder AI

In this article will demonstrate on how to use button in inspection UI to control program state in NI Vision Builder AI (VBAI).

  1. Select Tools >> Inspection Interface Configuration to add user interact button to inspection interface in VBAI. For more detail steps on how to add the button kindly refer to this knowledge base (User Input in Vision Builder for Automated Inspection Sequence).

  1. Select View >> View Inspection State Diagram to open the inspection state diagram and select the transition that you wish to use value from this button to make decision.
  2. Edit the transition measurement to read value from the user interface control that you created. 

  1. When you execute the inspection, you should able to make interaction with the button in the inspection interface to control the transition of that particular state. based on your configuration.
