Issue Details

When running an Enerchron sequence, a watchdog timeout error is thrown after running for about 1 hour.  What could be causing this issue?

Solution

Watchdog timeout errors are typically thrown whenever the NHR hardware Enerchron is communicating with did not get receive an expected periodic message.

To help resolve this issue, check to make sure there are no sleep settings on the computer running Enerchron.  This can cause the communication to the NHR hardware to stop.  You can also check other energy saving settings that your computer might have enabled and disable them to see how the behavior changes.

For example, if you're using a USB to Ethernet adapter, you can check in Device Manager for any power saving settings that can be disabled.  In Device Manager for USB to Ethernet adapters, there is typically a setting called "Energy-Efficient Ethernet" in the Properties>>Advanced tab section of the adapter.  Make sure to disable this feature.
