NI-DAQmx 19.6 Can't Be Installed Into the PharLap RT

Issue Details

Previously, I have NI-DAQmx 18.6 installed on my host PC(WIN7) and PharLap RT PXI. I want to upgrade to NI-DAQmx 19.6. After I install the NI-DAQmx 19.6 on the host, I can't find it when I try to install it to the PharLap RT in NI MAX. What should I do to solve this issue?

Solution

This issue can be resolved by the following steps:

  1. Delete NI-DAQmx 19.6 on the host.
  2. Install ni-cvi-2019-rt-module-x86_19.0.0.
  3. reinstall NI-DAQmx 19.6.

Then, you should be able to install NI-DAQmx 19.6 in NI MAX.
