Error: HBM PNRF Reader Toolkit Not Installed or Registered

Issue Details

When I try to open .pnrf file, I get an error: "HBM PNRF Reader Toolkit Not Installed or Registered", even though I have installed NI Hottinger Baldwin Messtechnik DataPlugin for HBM-PNRF.

 

Error details as below:

Cannot load the file "C:\Users\<Name>\<Location>\<file>.pnrf" with the loader "HBM_PNRF".

Solution

Make sure that you have installed the HBM's Perception PNRF Reader Toolkit in your computer. Starting on version 2021 Q4 and later, you need to install the Perception PNRF Reader Toolkit to open the PNRF file.

Also, make sure that you are using a supported Operating system to avoid unexpected behaviour.
