Issue Details

Why is there no signal change when excitation is applied to KFGS-120-D17 strain gauge when using NI-9236 in NI-MAX?

Solution

This happens when the strain gauge used is not compatible with the module. The KFGS-1-120-D17 strain gauge uses a 120Ω resistor and it is not compatible with NI-9236 module which has a resistance of 350Ω. For a more appropriate use case, a NI-9235 is recommended for KFGS-1-120-D17 strain gauge.
