Reset Your DC Power Supply Message During PXI-41XX Calibration

Issue Details

When performing the PXI-41XX's calibration procedure on Calibration Executive with an unsupported power supply unit in manual mode, I get the following notice at any point after the Verify Current Measurement Accuracy step:

 

Reset your DC Power Supply

 

 

 

If I hit continue a few times, I get the error described in this article- Error -1074118647 When Performing PXI-4110 Calibration in Calibration Executive. However, the steps in the article don't help me

 

How do I get past this dialog box, and what does it mean to reset the DC power supply?

Solution

The message prompts the user to turn all power supply values to 0 or to disconnect the PSU from AUX lines on the PXI-41XX. After doing so, click continue. 

 

The Calibration Executive will then ask you to reconnect the power cables, or turn on the supply again and set the power supply unit to the required values to continue with the calibration.
