Issue Details

In this link, we found the following information about accuracy.

"Current Measurement Accuracy = 1.11% (8 A) and 1.11% (30 A)."

Is it a read error or full-scale error? Is it calibratable?

Solution

The accuracy figure provided for the SLSC-12251/2 is a full-scale error.

The SLSC-12251/2 modules are calibratable. There is calibrated coefficient stored in the EEPROM for customer use and describe how to measure the current in the user manual, as shown below.

The calibration procedure is detailed in the user manual under the "Calibration" section. Users can perform the calibration themselves by following the instructions provided. The modules have current sense capability on each channel, and the sense values are available as uncalibrated differential voltages. Calibration coefficients are stored for each channel on the module and can be accessed via software.
