Issue Details

In the specifications for NI-HSDIO, it mentions that "The NI 6547/6548 also allows both acquisition and generation on the same set of channels at the same time." Does this mean they can acquire and generate signals from the same port simultaneously? What does this mean?

Solution

"The same set of channels" refers to either the lower data channels (0-15) or the upper data channels (16-31).

Generation and acquisition sessions can be independently configured for these sets of channels. For example, you can perform acquisition using the lower data channels (0-15) and generation using the upper data channels (16-31) simultaneously.
