Issue Details

I have installed NI-IMAQ and NI-IMAQdx drivers, but my Vision Builder will still prompt this error message:

No NI-IMAQ Device Available

This step requires an NI-IMAQ device. No NI-IMAQ device is currently installed in this system.
Refer to the online documentation for information about NI-IMAQ devices that support this step.

The error message is displayed as below:

Solution

The NI-IMAQ driver software supports only NI hardware. Please refer to NI Vision Driver and Vision Acquisition Device Compatibility to determine which devices are supported by NI-IMAQ and NI-IMAQdx.
For third-party cameras, it is recommended to use the NI-IMAQdx driver and the corresponding NI-IMAQdx VIs.
