Is NI PXIe-4139 and PXIe-4144 a Floating Source?

Issue Details

I need to use my analog input instrument with a floating source. I wonder if the PXIe-4139 and PXIe-4144 is a floating source? 

Solution

Yes, there is isolation between the channels and earth ground on both of those instruments. Note that while the channels of the PXIe-4144 are isolated from earth ground they are not isolated from each other. They all share a common LO terminal, which is referred to as bank isolation.
