Error 5260001 in VeriStand and Error 80040373 in NI MAX When Using NI-XNET

Issue Details

I have connected NI PXIe-8510 XNET hardware in a Real-Time Target (RT Target). However, when I tried to deploy a VeriStand Project using NI-XNET hardware, Error 5260001 (Hex 0xBFF63227) occurs as below.

Next, I tried to use self-test function in NI MAX, Error 80040373: Self-Test failed occurs in NI MAX. How can I resolve the issue?

 

Solution

As indicated in the Error 5260001 message, it is essential to ensure that the NI-XNET version installed on both the RT Target and the Host PC is identical.

You may need to format the RT Target and reinstall the same version of NI-XNET as on the Host PC.

Alternatively, you can uninstall the NI software on the Host PC and then install the version that matches the RT Target.
