Error Code 1 Using NI Vehicle Communication Custom Device in VeriStand

Issue Details

I use VeriStand and NI-Vehicle Communication(VCOM) Toolkit. When I deploy the project to my target, no error prompt out but I get error 1 in the status channel from the  VCOM custom device and there is no communication between ports, why?

Solution

Invalid character as input in configuration will result this error. Ensure the file name and file path used by the custom device do not contain special character or non-English character.
