This is a known issue that appeared starting from 5.15 and later NILRT kernels which is fixed in the 2024Q4 release. For now, there are three possible workarounds:

Upgrade the target's software and drivers versions to 2024Q4.
Modify the "rtgroups" file on the target on the current software and driver version:
- Download the fixed 'rtgroups' file that is attached at the bottom of this page
- Copy on target to '/etc/rtgroups' replacing the installed file. If you are unsure how to copy files on Linux RT Targets you can refer to the following article: Tools Available for File Transfer/Access on NI Linux Real-Time Targets.
- Reboot for setting to take effect.
Downgrade the software and driver version to 2020.
Note: This version is not currently supported and should only be used as a temporary workaround.
