How to fix the issue that ECUTS Serial port COMx binding does not match the system definition

Issue Details

When I bring-up the ECUTS and run test system maintenance software, I got the below error:

 From the NI Max, I can see the Serial Port Name and Port Binding is not in correct.

From top to bottom,  the Serial Port Binding should be from COM2 to COM9. And the ASRL port number should be from 2 to 9 also.

Solution

1. Right-click "NI Max" and "Run as administrator". Otherwise the Advanced Tab is disabled.
2. Navigate to the specific PXIe card. In the example, it is PXIe-8430 in Slot17.
3. Select a mismatched port and click Advanced Tab in the right part of NI Max. I take COM10 as an example.

4. Change COM Port Number from COM10 to COM2, then click Save. After that, the ni Max will refresh the resources, the Port Binding will change to COM2.

5. Change the Name to COM2 in Settings Tab and Save.

6. Repeat step 3 to step 5 to rename all the Serial Ports. 
Note: If the target port is in use, you can assign a port number which is not used. After the port is released, you can rename it to the target port name.
7. You will get a correct port binding lists as below picture.
