Issue Details

According to the PXI/PXIe/PCI-5105 Calibration Procedure, looking at the table results in the Vertical Gain Accuracy section, why do I see that the calibration is only performed at 1V range for 50 ohms input impedance?

Solution

From the block diagram in the PXIe-5105 user manual, it can be observed that the 1MΩ and 50Ω paths share nearly all of the same circuitry. Therefore, when verifying that the performance is good on 1MΩ, it also covers the same for 50Ω. This is why 50Ω verification is done with 1V range only.
