Error -1074115898 When Providing an External Clock to the NI SCOPE in LabVIEW

Issue Details

I am receiving an error -1074115898 in LabVIEW with a Status Code -200313 when trying to provide an external clock to the NI SCOPE:

Solution

There are several reasons for receiving this error:
  • The peak-to-peak voltage of the external clock does not meet the acceptable peak-to-peak voltage for your module. Measure the peak-to-peak voltage of the external clock and check your device's specifications document if it is within the acceptable range.
  • The expected frequency you defined in the VI does not meet the actual frequency of the external clock. You can measure the clock's frequency with the NI SCOPE to see its actual frequency as it can be out of your expectations due to the source's accuracy.
  • The cable that connects the source of the external clock to the PFI port of the NI SCOPE can be broken. Try to switch the cable and run the VI again.
  • The PFI port of the NI SCOPE can be corrupted. Contact NI Technical Support for troubleshooting.
