Issue Details

  • How to mount GPIB-140B?
  • Can the two holes at the bottom of the GPIB-140B be used for mounting? What is the recommended screw for mounting?

Solution

The two holes at the bottom of GPIB-140B enclosure can be used for mounting. Helicoils are installed in these two holes, and the thread size is M3, so M3 screws must be used. For screw selection, the thread specification is M3X0.5. NI recommends using 6.7 lb-in torque for M3 threads. The engaged thread length must not exceed 3mm. The screw length can be longer than 3mm, depending on the thickness of the customer's mounting bracket.
