Does all SMU support feature of OCP and OVP

Issue Details

Are OCP(Over-Current Protection) and OVP(Over-Voltage Protection) features supported by all NI SMU(Source Measure Unit) devices?

Solution

The quick answer is NO.  
The protection function varies quite a bit by SMU model.  For the four modules below, you could find that PXIe-4145 has NO OVP feature.

You can check the latest User Manual of the SMU to find whether it supports OVP and OCP. I will take PXIe-4135 as an example. In the section of Theory of Operation, you can find the brief introduction of protection mechanisms for the model. And you can also find OCP and OVP indicator in the Block Diagram.
