[ECUTS] How to use Test System Maintenance Software of ECUTS

ECU Test System Maintenance Software is an application you can use to monitor and perform certain kinds of maintenance on system components of the ECUTS(ECU Test System) and to execute continuity test using the FDT-16041(Field Diagnostic Tester). It performs the following operations:
  • Verify Components
  • Renaming Components
  • Reset
  • Self Test
  • Self Calibrate
  • Check Continuity with FDT

 

Before you use FDT to perform continuity test, please guarantee that your ECUTS is standard ECUTS with no customized modules, or the customized moduels connected to empty slot of FDT. Below are the steps: 
1. Navigate to C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Test System Maintenance\ and open Test System Maintenance.exe. Or you can select Start»Test System Maintenance»Test System Maintenance shortcut.
2. Select the Operations to execute and click Run Operations.

3. Disconnect any ITA(Interchangeable Test Adapter) or FDT(Field Diagnostic Tester) from the test system’s mass interconnect and press Continue

4. Connect the FDT to the tester’s mass interconnect and press Continue

5. Disconnect the FDT when the continuity tests complete, then press Continue.

6. The report is generated and you can open the report pressing Click here to view report.
