OPKG Error When Trying to Install Python3-pip on NI Linux Real-Time

Issue Details

I want to install NI-DAQmx Python API in NI Linux Real-Time, but I have received an error message: 
Collected errors:
* opkg_prepare_url_for_install: Couldn't find anything to satisfy 'python3-pip'
The error message is displayed as below:
opkg install python3-pip error message

Solution

  • The python3-pip resources are unavailable on the legacy cRIO Base Image.
  • The installation of python3-pip is only supported on NI Linux RT System Images from 2020 and later.
