NI SystemLink DataFinder Error Could Not Connect With the Server: Bad Request: EXCEPTION

Issue Details

I log in to the Database on the NI SystemLink Server and add indexes but when I try to access them from "Data Navigation", I receive the following error:

 

Error:

Could not connect with the server:<<DataFinderInstance>>

Bad Request: EXCEPTION: AoException: AO_UNKNOWN_ERROR (0): RequestorBase(92): ERROR(60): Error: cannot connect to server.

How to resolve this error?

Solution

The problem occurs when the NI Services not running correctly in the Windows Services application of the PC. 

 

  • Ensure that the "NI PSP Service Locator"  is running correctly under Windows Services.
