Updating Multiple Sequence Files in TestStand

Issue Details

When I open TestStand 2021 SP1 sequence files in TestStand 2022 Q4, it prompts to save them again. It is less efficient to save each sequence file individually. Is there a quick way to save all TestStand 2021 SP1 sequences as TestStand 2022 Q4 sequences?

Solution

You can use Sequence File Converter (located in Tools>>Update Sequence Files in TestStand Sequence Editor) to edit multiple sequence files in a single click. This tool allows you to easily resave sequence files on disk using the current version of TestStand, change the file format to binary, XML, or INI, and adjust the protection settings for the files.
