Probing FPGA VI After Deployment

Issue Details

  • I am using Open FPGA VI Reference function in my Main RT VI. I am able to run and deploy my Main RT VI without any issue. How do I know if my FPGA VI has been deployed?

  • Can I probe my FPGA VI after deployment?

Solution

After FPGA VI is deployed either independently or using Open FPGA VI Reference, the VI will be in running state. By opening the FPGA VI, you can monitor the data on the control and indicator and also view the block diagram as well. However, debugging tools such as probe and highlight functions will not be available for FPGA VI.
