Error 7 Using NI Vehicle Communication Custom Device in VeriStand

Issue Details

I use VeriStand and NI-Vehicle Communication(VCOM) Toolkit. When I deploy the project to a NI Linux Real-Time target, no error prompt out but I get error 7 in the status channel from the  VCOM custom device and there is no communication between ports, why?

Solution

To use the VCOM custom device, it require VCOM toolkit package installed in the deploy target. Please ensure you install the VCOM toolkit package into your target before deploy the project to avoid this error.
