Solution
If the BIOS of your manufactuer supports reserving IRQ, you may be able to reserve IRQs for the PCI/PXI-6624.
- Enter the BIOS setup.
- If there is an Advanced menu (locations differ from BIOS to BIOS), there most likely will be a setting to reserve IRQs.
- You should mark the IRQ that was shared as Reserved and restart the computer.
- If you are not able to find the option in your BIOS to reserve IRQs, you may need to contact your PC manufacturer to obtain a version of the BIOS that permits the ability to reserve IRQs.
- Shut down the computer.
If such an option is not available to you, removing periperhals connected to your system, might be able to free up any reserved IRQs.
Such device include but are not limited to: Keyboards, Mouses & other PCI/PXI devices.
Should a dedicated Graphics card be installed in your system, removing it might also resolve the error.
