Unshow TestStand Report Display After Execution

Issue Details

  • I would like to have the TestStand result recorded; however, I do not want to display the TestStand report at the end of the execution, as it took longer to react to displaying the TestStand report. What should I do?
  • Can I disable the result displaying in TestStand while still getting the TestStand report in the report file directory?

Solution

You may open your TestStand development system and go to Configure >> Result Processing. Make sure that the Enabled box is checked, but the Display box is unchecked. This ensures that the TestStand report processing is still occurring and the result will be saved in the report file directory, while there is no report display after the TestStand has finished execution.

Additional Information

Sometimes the TestStand report has a larger file size, which makes it unable to be displayed. In that case, the user can opt to use this method to uncheck the display option while still being able to open the report from the report file directory.
