Issue Details

I don't know the pins function of Cal Measure, Cal Sense and Cal Force when I use PXIe-6570 or PXIe-6571.
From PXIe-6571 Pinout, I just see pins description is "Resource for external calibration.", but I'd like to know how they work when execute external calibration, such as physical connections.

Solution

The recommended external calibration interval for this module is 1 year. Customers usually send their modules to NI or other metrology labs for external calibration to ensure specified long-term performance. The Cal Force, Cal Sense, Cal Measure pins are reserved for external calibration. More information on the external calibration procedure for PXIe-6571/6570 can be found in PXIe-6570/6571 Calibration Procedure - NI. You can understand their function when perform this calibration.

Additional Information

Customers should use the Self-Calibration feature to perform calibration on-site (Cal Force, Cal Sense, Cal Measure pins are not used for this). Note: External calibration is more involved and should still be performed at the recommended interval.
