Water Resistant Behaviour of NI 745690-T002 Sensor

Issue Details

  • I would like to validate if the NI sensor 745690-T002, T-type thermocouple wire, fiberglass (32 deg F to 500 deg F) 2m are water resistant or not. I checked the documentation but there is no information regarding this.
  • Is 745690-T002, T-Type thermocouple wire, water-resistant?

Solution

According to the OEM of this sensor, the probe of the sensor is water resistant. However, the other side of the cable where the leads are exposed needs to be in a dry environment.
