Error -1073807339 When Executing PXIe-S5090 LabVIEW Shipping Example

Issue Details

I have a PXIe-S5090 and it works fine with Copper Mountain Technologies (CMT) Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) Software. However, when I try to run Example2.vi from C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 20xx\instr.lib\CmtNA., I'm getting an error for a certain Number Of Points.

For example, if I set the Number Of Points as 111, 112, or 107, it can execute without issue, but if I set it as 108 or 113, I get error message below:  
Error -1073807339 occurred at VISA <function name>.vi
Possible reason(s):
VISA:  (Hex 0xBFFF0015) Timeout expired before operation completed.

Solution

Please ensure that you have installed all the prerequisite software required (NI FlexRIO Driver, NI-VISA, and IVI Shared Components) before installing the CMT PXIe-S5090 VNA software. You should also download the CMT PXIe-S5090 VNA software from CMT official website​​​​​​.

If you have installed CMT PXIe-S5090 VNA software and found that your system is missing any prerequisite software required, please uninstall the CMT VNA software, then install all the prerequisite software, followed by reinstallation of CMT PXIe-S5090 VNA software.

If the reinstallation doesn't work, you will need to uninstall all NI drivers and CMT software and then reinstall them, follow the CMT Software Installation step-by-step.
