Error -30717 When Configuring PXI-4110 or PXI-4130 in TestStand Using IVI Power Supply Step

Issue Details

When trying to configure the instrument in the IVI Power Supply step, an error pops up:
The IVI Configure operation failed for logical name '...'. Details: Extension capability not supported by instrument driver. (Base) (-30717)

The NI I/O Trace shows that IviDCPwr_ConfigureOVP function returns IVI_ERROR_FUNCTION_NOT_SUPPORTED error.

Solution

Disable the overvoltage protection, which is enabled by default in the Edit IVI Power Supply Step window.
Go to the Limits tab and remove the checkmark from OVP Enabled checkbox, as the driver for these devices does not fully support the IviDCPwr_ConfigureOVP function.
