Issue Details

I am using an NI PCI-6602 device for my data acquisition application. This has been identified correctly in NI Measurement and Automation Explorer until recently but now in the place of my device I have a series identifier:
PCI\VEN_1093&DEV_1310&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_01\5&316EE9C7&0&6000EB

Solution

This issue can be solved by following steps:
  1. Reset and Fix the NI Measurement & Automation Explorer Database File by referring to the related link below
  2. Change to another PCI slot that available on the motherboard
  3. Try on other PCs that have installed the NI-DAQ™mx driver
  4. Ensure there is no error in the device manager
  5. Repair or Reinstall the NI-DAQ™mx driver
  6. Try to install the latest version of the NI-DAQ™mx driver
If the same issue persists, try to swap with a good PCI-6602 and see if the same issue will appear on another PCI-6602. If other PCI-6602 working fine that means the current PCI-6602 has an internal hardware issue and recommended to reach NI Technical Support.
