LabVIEW: (Hex 0x6C0) When Deploying Source Distribution to RT Target

Issue Details

After built and deploying the RT Source Distribution to cRIO-9038 RT Target, deployment status shows failed to deploy. The error message is " LabVIEW: (Hex 0x6C0) A package has already installed the application you are trying to deploy. To resolve this error, uninstall the package before deploying the application."

Solution

This error can occur due to a conflict between the VI's in vi.lib and the packages that are already installed in the RT target. To resolve this, make sure that these 3 options in "Additional Exclusions" of Source Distribution Properties is checked.
