Defining and Setting Individual Y-Scaling for Each Curve in DIAdem 2D Axis Graph

This document will explain how to define and set individual Y-scaling for each curve of a multi Y-axis 2D chart in DIAdem VIEW.

  1.  In a VIEW tab, choose New Layout to create a new workspace.

  1. From Data Portal, select the data you want to plot and drop them on the workspace.

  1. From the pop-up menu, choose 2D Axis System.

  1. In VIEW  2D chart settings, choose n Y-Axes [Linear] for the Y-Axis type to display an individual axis for each curve.

  1. Double click on any curve to open the 2D Axis System setting window.
  2. In the 2D Axis System setting window, check the scaling item Curve related to display the additional Scaling column in the Curve list.

  1. To define an individual scaling for a curve, choose Edit from the drop down menu of a Scaling item. This opens a new Curve-Related Scaling dialog which allows you to define a number of named manual scalings.

  1. Click the Plus + button to add a new scaling.

  1. Change the Mode to Manual and, set the scaling Name, Begin and End values.

  1. Repeat step 8,9 for all scalings.
  2. Press OK to confirm your definitions.

  1. Each of these named scalings can now be selected for each of the curves in your chart. Selecting the same scaling for multiple curves results in them sharing the same y-axis.

  1. After applying manual scaling to each curve, click OK

The applied new scaling will be displayed on the graph.
