[STS] How to Calibrate Docking and Locking Sensors

This content applies to STS models with the direct dock probe configuration. It describes how to calibrate docking and locking sensors in a UI.


Equipment we need:
  • Prober head plate insert 
  • Manipulator 
  • Probe card 
 

Complete the following procedure to calibrate STS docking and locking sensors:

  1. Go to folder C:\Program Files\National Instruments\STS Direct Dock Control
  2. Double click NI_STS_Direct_Dock_Control.exe
  3. Open the Configuration and Digital Status tab of the STS Direct Dock Control application.
  4. Click Enable on the Sensor Calibration section of the tab.

  1. Click Tester Docking Sensors or Probe Card Locking Sensors to initiate the calibration procedure.

  1. Follow all prompts.
