Can I Prevent TSM from Automatically Changing the Debugging Option for RF instruments

Issue Details

I can enable debugging for RF instruments so that I can use an NI-RFmx soft front panel to debug opened sessions for the instruments. Because enabling debugging for RF instruments might incur a performance penalty, TSM automatically disables debugging for VST and RFSA instruments on the system when I run a test program in an operator interface. TSM automatically enables debugging for those instruments when I run a test program in the sequence editor so I can use a soft front panel to debug NI-RFmx sessions while running in the sequence editor.

If I want to disable this function, how to do it?

Solution

To prevent TSM from automatically changing the debugging option for RF instruments, change the file extension on the C:\Program Files\National Instruments\TestStand 2023\Components\Models\ModelPlugins\Addons\NI_SemiconductorModule_RFmxDebugToggle.seq file to something other than .seq.
