Custom Device for SET-1240 Card

Issue Details

I am using SET 1240 and I would like to use it with VeriStand. However, I am unable to find any Custom Device for this hardware. Is there any Custom Device for SET-1240 cards?

Solution

The SET-1240 can be fully configured using the SLSC EDS Custom Device. This Custom Device lets you set properties and issue commands to the 1240 to configure it the way you want without needing any other custom device. NI provides release versions of the custom device that install with the VeriStand Custom Devices. 

After installing the package, you should see the SLSC EDS option when configuring the SLSC Modules Settings.

Additional Information

The EDS CD is a generic custom device that can be used with many different SLSC cards. It works by reading the capabilities file from the card, and then lets you set properties and execute commands on the card.
