DAQmx Global Channel Name Is Not Recognized in LabVIEW

Issue Details

  • When I try to input a string on a DAQmx Global Channel constant, the string is not being recognized and will disappear after removing the cursor.
DAQ Global Channel Name
  • Some DAQmx Global Channel name is not being passed through to other terminal node in LabVIEW.

Solution

This issue may occur because there are some corrupted DAQmx Global Channel name on NI MAX. This can be resolved by saving all unsaved DAQmx Global Channel name. Please ensure to close and re-open all NI software after saving DAQmx Global Channel names in NI MAX. Please refer to picture below for related information. If the issue still persists, please reset your NI MAX database.
