I see NI-9220 and sbRIO-9220 on NI shop page. What is the difference between NI-9220 and sbRIO-9220?

Solution

Both NI-92xx and sbRIO-92xx are C series voltage module. Below are the differences between them:

Compatibility

Compatible with CompactDAQ, CompactRIO and EtherCat chassis/ controllers. For more information, please refer C Series Module and CompactDAQ or CompactRIO Hardware Compatibility with LabVIEW.

Compatible with CompactRIO Single-Board Controller. For more information, please refer CompactRIO Single-Board Controller Module Compatibility.

Connectivity

Can be fitted into the 15 pin D-sub connector of the chassis directly.

Can be fitted into C series slot of a RIO Mezzanine Card (RMC). Then, the RMC needs to be connected to the RMC connector of the sbRIO controllers.
