Issue Details

What are the maximum and minimum voltage for RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 ports on my NI cRIO 906x? I am unable to find it on my hardware's specification sheet.

Solution

RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 ports on NI hardware complies to serial communication regulation. However, please take note that the voltage measure across a serial communication line will vary based on the load and cable length. Please refer to picture below.
