Solution

This error can occur if:
  • The test equipment does not completely match the required equipment for this calibration procedure.
  • Incorrect driver versions are installed.

Follow the steps below to resolve this error:
  1. Verify that your test equipment exactly matches the required equipment listed for the calibration procedure.
  2. If you have upgraded or installed any drivers after installing Calibration Executive:
    1. Uninstall all drivers and Calibration Executive.
    2. Reinstall Calibration Executive, ensuring that all additional packages are included. Note: Calibration Executive will install the required drivers by default.
    3. Restart the calibration procedure.
  3. If you have not installed drivers separately from Calibration Executive, check that the drivers were properly installed:
    1. Open NI Package Manager.
    2. Select the INSTALLED tab.
    3. Ensure that the Products Only option is deselected.
    4. In the search bar, enter the name of the driver required for your calibration procedure.
      • For example, if an NI DMM card is used, the NI-DMM driver is required. If an NI Power Supply module is used, the NI-DCPower driver is required.
    5. If your PC has installed driver support packages, but not the full driver, you will need to install the correct version of the driver manually.
      • For example, in the picture below, all files named "NI-DMM xxxxxx" are NI-DMM support packages. The "NI-DMM" package at the top is the full driver. If "NI-DMM" was missing, I would need to install NI-DMM 20.0 separately.
