NI USB-5133 LED Back Panel Off When Connected to Host PC

Issue Details

I have connected my USB-5133 to the host PC but the back panel LED is not showing any indication.

Solution

This issue can happen because the software and driver are not installed into the host PC or using the wrong USB cable. To solve this issue you may refer to the below troubleshooting steps:

1. Ensure you are using the correct USB cable that comes with USB-5133
2. Ensure installed LabVIEW and NI-Scope are compatible with your operating system. To check the compatibility click here
Note: Once the installation process is done, please restart the whole system and disconnect any signal from the USB device from the front panel.
3. Reconnect the USB-5133 to the host PC
4. If the USB-5133 is still not detected try to Reset NI MAX by referring to the related link below.
5. If the back panel LED still fails to light, contact NI Technical Support at ni.com/support.
