Does LabVIEW RTE 2023 Q3 Require Rosetta for Apple Silicon?

Issue Details

I'm trying to deploy my application on a Mac, but I don't know if Rosetta is needed to run my application with LabVIEW Runtime Engine.

Solution

LabVIEW Runtime Engine 2023 Q3 can run natively on Apple Silicon as LabVIEW 2023 Q3 does.

However, if you build an application on an Intel Mac, it will require Rosetta to run the application on Apple Silicon, otherwise, if you build your application on an Apple Silicon Mac running LabVIEW natively, the application will not require Rosetta to run on another Apple Silicon Mac.

LabVIEW 2023 Q3 is the final release of LabVIEW for macOS.
