Error 0xBFFF0078 When Deploy VeriStand Project

Issue Details

I have PXIe-1085 chassis which is communicating to my test PC via MXI express. Recently, I upgrade NI LabVIEW and VeriStand from 2019 to 2023 version. Suddenly, now I am unable to deploy my VeriStand project. Below is the error that I am encountering.

Solution

This error is related to the NI-VISA. NI-VISA was initially installed as primary and then changed to secondary when the second VISA implementation was installed. To resolve this issue, you will need to set NI VISA as preferred in NI MAX. You can follow the steps below.
  1. In MAX, expand the Software tab and navigate to your version of NI VISA.
  2. Select the VISA Options tab at the bottom of the window and then Conflict Manager. Under Preferred VISA, select National Instruments VISA.
