Performing Self-Test for NI Hardware

For your information Self-Test is operation to verify baseline functionality of test system components. The level of verification varies by component, but minimally, this operation verifies that the system controller can communicate with the component. This article will guide you on how to perform self-test on NI Hardware.

You will need to have NI MAX installed on your system in order to complete any of the steps.

1. Launch NI MAX
2. Go to Devices and Interfaces
3. Select your NI Hardware as show below example:

4. Click on Self-Test at the top pane
5. Once the Self-Test completed it will appear The self-test completed successfully. As below photo shows:
